We respect your privacy and we are committed to protecting any information that you share with us, either directly and or indirectly via any EBF subsidiary and or third party such as a partner organisation, service provider and or affiliated entity.

Personal information is any information that may be used to explicitly identify you personally such as a name, email address, telephone number, address, birth date, coupled with any additional information you may choose to provide, such as gender, occupation and or personal interests, needs and concerns. Any information we collect from you is done openly and transparently, for research and advocacy purposes. Where your areas of interest, need and or concern overlap with specifically focused areas of our research "hotspots", we will provide you with the opportunity to access as well as inform our research. Participating members not only enjoy enhanced access to the website and our services, but also inform all of our licensing decisions.

A cookie is a small data file written to your device when you visit our website. A cookie file contains a unique user ID that is assigned when you visit the website. Use of Information
We use personal information for research purposes as well as to fulfil our service obligations to you by personalising your website experience. We use it to keep you up to date with news and other information according to criteria set by you and more generally to provide you with a service that is consistent with your particular interests.

We may invite you to participate in our ongoing research, but you are not obliged to participate in this. However, in any event and under no circumstances will the results of any research that you have participated in be used to identify you personally to any third party without your consent.

Destruction
You may request the destruction of any personal information retained by us at any time, by submitting a request to close your account via email to [email protected] or by selecting the option to your account. Information associated with your account may not be automatically deleted for so long as any agreement between you and the EBF, and or any of our subsidiary or associated entities remains in force and has relevant effect.
Security
EBF makes every reasonable effort to safeguard the security of any data you provide, using physical, electronic and managerial procedures. Your account information is password-protected for your privacy and security and accessible using industry-standard SSL-encryption. While we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot absolutely ensure the security of the information you transmit to us, and so we encourage you to take precautions to protect your personal data whenever and wherever you are on the internet. Change your passwords often, use a combination of letters and numbers, and make sure you use a secure browser wth virus and VPN protection.
Children and Privacy
Our websites do not target and are not intended to attract children under the age of 16. We do not not knowingly solicit personal information from children under the age of 16 or request personal information from them.
Third Party Sites
The website contains links to other websites. We do not share your personal information with any of these third parties without your permission. Third-party sites may include some displaying the eb™ logo, which are not operated or maintained by us and so we are not responsible for any information contained on these websites or the practices of any parties linked to or from our website.
